The Crown Point area of Tobago offers white sandy beach, calm blue shallow water, and picturesque bays. Crown Point is easily accessible from the airport and is home to Tobago’s busiest and liveliest beaches. Whether you want action or tranquillity, the perfect beach is never far away. Store Bay is one of Tobago's most popular beaches with a cluster of bars, craft stalls, and vendors selling the local specialty crab & dumpling. See species of hard and soft coral, reef sharks, and jewel fish while snorkelling on the reef and stop at the Nylon Pool in the middle of the lagoon, for a swim. The cruises leave daily from Store Bay and Pigeon Point. Turtle watching cruises and yacht and boat charters are also available. Explore the mangrove wetlands of Bon Accord Lagoon, this important habitat for many species of birds can only be accessed by boat. scarborough holidays

our hotels in scarborough

Scarborough is the largest town on Tobago; its population is around 17,000, almost one-third of the population of the island. During the colonial era, this town was occupied by the Dutch, British, and French. The 18th Century Fort King George dominates the town sitting atop a hill 400 feet above. The Fort’s Georgian buildings now house an interesting historic museum with Amerindian artefacts and military relics from the island's colonial history. Scarborough's deepwater harbour welcomes cruise ships and yachts and is the main departure point for those catching ferries to Tobago’s sister island, Trinidad.
