Located on the east coast of Mauritius, Belle Mare is one of the longest and nicest beaches on the island. The sand is pristine and white, the lagoon's changing depth creates a myriad of different greens and blues and the mountains scenery is spectacular. The east coast has a lot to offer, the lagoons are great for snorkelling and the shipwrecks off the coast attract scuba divers from around the world. The most popular excursion on the east coast is to Ile aux Cerfs, a tiny island located just off the mainland. This island has a beautiful beach and is perfect for watersports. Centre de Flacq is the largest town on the east coast and has all the amenities one could wish for including a large market. Trou d’eau Douce is a charming fishing village and the starting point for numerous sea excursions. The Waterpark Leisure Village offers a fun family day out with giant chutes, and slides. Junior Suites - These suites are spacious and airy, with terraces looking out at the spectacular view of the Indian Ocean. Key  features in the room are the super king-size beds, separated from the comfortable seating areas by small wooden trellises, in a warm and glowing decor. Each Suite has a small dressing room and spacious bathroom, with a large walk-in shower, two washbasins, a bath and a separated toilet. Junior Suites can be interconnecting or adjoining.

Lagoon Suites - These suites are larger than the Junior Suites and offer wonderful views of the lagoon. Just imagine watching the moonrise above the lagoon as you relax in your own whirlbath.

Honeymoon Suites - These suites wrap newly weds in an exotic, colonial feeling and the sumptuous atmosphere is enhanced by the softness and charm of Brazilian rosewood flooring. The large terrace is ideal for a romantic breakfast or for dinner tête-à-tête, not forgetting the four-poster bed... Pure romance.

African Senior - This suite has a luxury hut appearance and distinctly African ambience. Masks, grass furnishings and rustic solid wood furniture enliven the decor so that you can almost hear the distant sound of the drums. The suite offers direct access to the garden.

Chinese Senior Suite - This suite features a richly decorated and ornate interior. With attention given to every detail, it breathes with Asian art de vivre, tinted with exotic local touches.

The Marharajah Suite - The doors open to reveal the rich and sumptuous finery of this suite. The comfortable sitting room is fitted with soft sofas and the dining area is decorated with colourful drapes. There are stunning views from the terrace of the Indian Ocean and, from the terrace of the suite, a spiral staircase leads to the Suite's private rooftop solarium and whirlpool. The final touch is your own personal butler.
