Villa del Palmar Cancun completes refurbishments and reopens to holidaymakers

The five star Villa del Palmar Beach and Spa Resort in Cancun celebrated its grand opening last month, following the completion of the third phase of its refurbishments.

Tourists planning cancun holidays this winter can take advantage of some fantastic room-only winter rates that have been launched by the resort to celebrate its reopening. The room-only rate also includes breakfast but if holidaymakers are looking for a more luxurious experience during their holidays to cancun they can choose the all-inclusive rate that includes all meals, snacks, drinks, 24-hour room service, evening entertainment, non-motorised watersports, beach and pool activities, and all taxes and tips.

The third and final phase of the refurbishment saw an extra 137 guest rooms added to the resort, plus new restaurants, a jungle-themed spa, and an expanded kids club.

Situated on a beautiful beach in Playa Mujeres, the Villa del Palmar Beach and Spa Resort is one of the most luxurious Cancun hotels with a total of 415 spacious rooms and suites, five gourmet restaurants and numerous bars, a kids club, five outdoor swimming pools, four whirlpools, and a modern fitness centre.

The resort's spa now boasts a tranquil jungle theme where guests can enjoy rejuvenating treatments so they can head home from their holidays in cancun feeling refreshed and relaxed.

Accommodation at the luxury Cancun hotel includes one, two, and three-bedroom suites with large living areas, fully-equipped kitchens with modern appliances including washing and drying machines, plus Antica Farmacista bath products. The guest rooms also have private terraces, flat screen TVs and spacious spa tubs.

The marble lobby area of the resort has a beautiful fountain and a grand chandelier and is a great place to relax with a coffee or cocktail in the Lobby Bar.

Kids will find plenty to do while on holiday in Cancun at Villa del Palmar and the expanded kids club has an LCD screen for films and Xbox and Kinect games. There are indoor and outdoor play areas and children of all ages can take part in activities such as cooking lessons, kite making and handicraft classes.

Situated just 35 minutes from Cancun International Airport (CUN), Villa del Palmar Beach and Spa Resort also has a shuttle service that operates six times a day taking guests downtown to the vibrant Hotel Zone in Cancun.
